Bwin Poker review

WPT Poker has been around for quite a while now, although if you haven’t really read about it in the news or anywhere else, you shouldn’t feel particularly guilty: they have been flying under the radar despite the excellent brand that they carry. Lately however, there are signs that the poker room is gathering momentum. The traffic has picked up quite a bit to the point that nowadays WPT poker can be considered a serious industry contender indeed. A flurry of generous promotions is quite probably “to blame” for the traffic explosion and that’s always good news. The WPT poker cashback deal may have something to do with it as well.

WPT Poker’s software is ok. It’s not particularly impressive in any way, but it does a good job and it does offer a stable platform for a good game of poker. The interface is easy on the eyes and the stats provided are the usual ones. Multi tabling is only possible at 4 tables currently, which may not satisfy high-level grinders, but your everyday grinders will find it more than satisfactory.
Besides the above said promotions and cashback deal, one major contributing factor to the increase of the WPT Poker traffic was of course the infusion of network-wide traffic it received from the bwin.party network. The game selection at the site is decent, and there is action at all the featured poker variants, so that is obviously a huge mark in the + column.

Competition-wise, WPT poker is a mixed bag: the micro limits host extremely loose players who would seemingly see flops on just about anything. On the higher limits, the action gradually tightens up. The $5/$10 NL Holdem tables can be viewed as the upper limit of value: above that, games get much more difficult to beat.
